ARA-290, also known as cibinetide, is an 11-amino-acid peptide derived from the helix-B domain of erythropoietin, supplied as a lyophilized powder for in vitro laboratory research use only. It is engineered to engage the innate repair receptor (EPOR-beta common receptor complex) without erythropoietic activity, and appears in the peer-reviewed literature in studies of tissue-repair signaling, neuroimmune pathways, and small-fiber research models.

Product Description

  • Sequence derived from the helix B region of erythropoietin; also referred to as cibinetide in the literature
  • Selective for the heteromeric innate repair receptor (EPOR / beta-common CD131) rather than the classical erythropoietin receptor
  • Described as non-erythropoietic in published work: it does not drive red blood cell production the way EPO does
  • Investigated in preclinical models of small-fiber neuropathy and tissue-injury signaling
  • Frequently cited in the innate-repair and neuroimmune research literature

Research Use Notes

  • Supplied as lyophilized powder in a sealed vial
  • Requires reconstitution before use; Amino H2O sold separately
  • Appearance: white to off-white lyophilized powder
  • Identity and purity verified by third-party COA

Storage & Handling

  • Store the sealed lyophilized vial frozen (-20C) and protected from light
  • Keep refrigerated (2-8C) once reconstituted
  • Reconstituted peptide has a limited stability window; handle per laboratory SOP
