Refund Policy

1. Overview

At Ventra Sciences we want you to be confident in every order. This Refund Policy explains when returns and refunds are available for research materials purchased from ventrasciences.com. Because our products are research-use-only laboratory compounds, some restrictions apply for sterility and research-integrity reasons.

2. Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return, an item must be:

• Unopened, sealed, and unused, in its original packaging.
• Returned within 30 days of delivery.
• Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or receipt).

Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method, less original shipping costs.

3. Non-Returnable Items

For sterility and research-integrity reasons, the following cannot be returned or refunded:

• Opened, reconstituted, or partially used products.
• Products with broken or missing tamper-evident seals.
• Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
• Products damaged by improper storage, handling, or reconstitution after delivery.

4. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or with items missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@ventrasciences.com with your order number and clear photographs. We will replace the affected items at no cost or issue a full refund at our discretion — including any shipping charged.

5. How to Request a Refund

To start a return or refund:

1. Email support@ventrasciences.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
2. Wait for a return authorization and instructions before shipping anything back — unauthorized returns may not be processed.
3. Pack items securely; you are responsible for items until they reach us.

6. Refund Processing & Timing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the credit to appear on your statement.

7. Order Cancellations

Orders may be edited or cancelled within two hours of placement by emailing support@ventrasciences.com. After that window, orders are queued for fulfillment and can no longer be changed. If we cancel an order before fulfillment for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any amount charged.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received an approved refund, first check with your bank or card issuer, as processing times vary. If you have done so and still have not received it, contact support@ventrasciences.com and we will help track it down.

9. Return Shipping

Except where the return is due to our error (damaged, incorrect, or mislabeled items), return shipping costs are the buyer's responsibility and are non-refundable. We recommend a trackable shipping method; we cannot issue a refund for returns we do not receive.
