PEG-MGF is a polyethylene-glycol-conjugated form of mechano growth factor (MGF), the E-domain peptide of the IGF-1Ec splice variant, and is supplied as a lyophilized powder for in vitro laboratory research use only. The MGF peptide is characterized in the peer-reviewed literature for its distinct pro-migratory activity on human myogenic precursor cells, separate from mature IGF-1 signaling.
