This is a two-compound research combination of Selank, a synthetic analog of the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin, and Semax, a synthetic analog of the ACTH(4-10) fragment, both supplied as a lyophilized powder for in vitro laboratory research use only. Both peptides are characterized in the peer-reviewed Russian and international literature: Semax in studies of monoaminergic and BDNF-related neuromodulatory signaling, and Selank in studies of tuftsin-analog neuromodulatory and behavioral research models.
Selank is a synthetic analogue of the endogenous tetrapeptide tuftsin, studied in anxiolytic-signalling and neuro-immune research models. Semax is derived from a fragment of adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH 4-10) and is studied as a probe of BDNF and neurotrophin signalling. Supplied together as a single research preparation.
